“All in all, it is conspicuous that the motion put forward by the defence is misconceived and the Court takes the view that a temporary stay of proceedings will have the effect of stringing out the present proceedings to an indefinite period. In light of the foregoing observations, the Court is of the considered opinion that the present proceedings should continue and cannot be temporarily stayed.”
