The Vice-President and Acting President of the Republic of Mauritius, His Excellency Mr Paramasivum Pillay Vyapoory, GOSK, has informed the Speaker of the Assembly, Honourable Sooroojdev Phokeer, GOSK, by letter dated Tuesday 26 November, 2019 that he is resigning as Vice-President of the Republic of Mauritius with immediate effect.
