Liverpool stakeholder LeBron James has expressed his love for the Reds on Instagram, and also couldn’t help but lavish praise on Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe.
Los Angeles Lakers icon James was granted a minority stake in the club when he partnered with Reds owners Fenway Sports Group in 2011, when the Boston-based company became the sole owners of his rights.
James has been to games at Anfield and regularly spoken of his support for the Reds since the establishment of that partnership, and there have been suggestions that he will be heavily involved in the marketing and potentially even the design of Liverpool’s new Nike-designed shirts for the 2020/21 season.
